Photos in left column are "before", right column are taken after the piano went through our service facility.  Gorgeous cabinet, curved legs, carvings, very pretty piano.  We revised our original plans for this piano (total restoration) when we saw what potential the original components had.  Original clearcoat was sanded without altering original stain, then sprayed with multiple coats of lacquer.  As is usually expected of a nearly 100 year old piano, the cabinet is not perfect but is very nice for a finish that has not been completely stripped.  Original strings and tuning pins still in good shape, tunes and holds tune well.  Original keytops in excellent condition.  Action components largely original, though the keybed felt, keybushings and a few smaller parts have been replaced, hammers have been filed and the action has been regulated.  GORGEOUS, reconditioned, well playing grand from the early 1900's.
