This instrument is in pretty good condition for a 106 year old piano.  Beautiful cabinet, note curved legs.  Bench does not have curved legs but the finish matches fairly well.  All keys play, good tuning pin torque (unusual on pianos this age), good known brand name too.   We have gone through this piano to make certain all the keys play, but due to age and price we have not reconditioned it as thoroughly as the newer and somewhat more expensive pianos we carry.  It is up to pitch, has a nice cabinet and will certainly serve to start a beginner taking lessons; however, for a piano that will receive more rigorous use I recommend checking my other pianos.

Ragland Piano Company is owned and operated by me - Howard Gustafson. I am a second-generation piano technician with over 25 years experience with all types of pianos, including player pianos.  My career started as a preteen helping my father with minor tasks in his shop, followed a few years later by a decade associated with one of the largest music stores in the Memphis, TN area.  In 1996 I relocated to Texarkana, TX and a year later opened Ragland Piano Company in its present location at 314 Main Street.  I have three boys, the oldest of whom has started assisting me in the shop after school - the third generation to work in the piano business.
